In the evolving landscape of Jakarta’s hospitality scene, design has become an essential part of how people experience restaurants, cafes, and social spaces. For the Cafe-Bar Sedayu City project, Gaby Nadya Studio creates an atmosphere that feels both intimate and architecturally expressive — balancing modern elegance with timeless materiality.
Designed by the Jakarta-based Interior Design and Architecture Studio, the project explores the relationship between spatial openness, warm textures, and hospitality-driven functionality. From the exterior facade to the interior dining experience, the design language is carefully curated to create a sophisticated destination within the urban setting of Sedayu City.
The architectural facade introduces a strong visual identity through tall symmetrical openings and a distinctive glass canopy entrance that softly transitions visitors from the exterior environment into the warmth of the interior. The monochromatic exterior palette gives the building a contemporary urban character while allowing natural light and landscape elements to soften the overall composition.
Inside, the atmosphere shifts into a more intimate hospitality experience. Rich wood finishes, custom geometric details, and layered lighting compositions create a sense of warmth and refinement throughout the space. A long open bar anchors the main circulation area, encouraging social interaction while maintaining visual continuity across the interior.
One of the defining features of the project is its dramatic double-height dining area, framed by elegant arch elements and expansive glass openings that allow daylight to filter naturally into the space. The combination of textured surfaces, patterned flooring, and deep-toned furnishings creates a balance between luxury and comfort — an approach that reflects Gaby Nadya Studio’s contemporary design philosophy.
As a professional Jakarta Interior Designer, Gaby Nadya Studio focuses on creating spaces that are not only visually compelling, but also deeply connected to human experience and spatial functionality. Every material, proportion, and lighting decision within the Cafe-Bar Sedayu City project was carefully considered to enhance both operational flow and customer atmosphere.
Known for delivering refined residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors across Jakarta, Bali, Bandung, and Lombok, Gaby Nadya Studio continues to develop architecture and interior projects that blend timeless aesthetics with modern living.
The Cafe-Bar Sedayu City project reflects the studio’s commitment to creating hospitality environments that feel immersive, elegant, and enduring — spaces where architecture and interior design work seamlessly together to shape memorable experiences.
